Problem.

Websites in South Africa often fail to communicate the design process engagingly. Static images don’t show the creative effort, making the presentation feel flat. The challenge was to present the work dynamically while keeping the message clear.

Solution.

We used a video banner with overlayed text (heading/subheading/CTA) that communicates the purpose and captures attention immediately. The banner shows the design process in real-time, giving viewers a live look at building the website in Framer while the overlay text communicates context and narrative.

Approach.

Design Strategy: Video itself as a banner adds motion and engagement. Text overlay ensures messaging is clear without disrupting visuals. Technical Implementation: Embedded the Framer recording as a looping video banner. Overlay text (heading, subheading, CTA) is positioned and styled to be readable against the video. User Experience: Visitors immediately see both the live design process and key messaging, creating an immersive, professional experience.

The banner video captures the essence of the design workflow in real-time, while overlayed text guides the viewer through the story. It’s a dynamic approach to presenting a project, making both process and outcome visible in one cohesive experience.
